Happy New Year to all you History Makers!

It is a pleasure to be back and blogging here at www.MarchforLifeNY.org

A lot has changed since my last post in July. We had our first March for Life NY fundraiser at the beautiful Villa Lombardi’s in Holbrook NY. Pastor Jim and Pastor Joni Lupis did a fantastic job with organizing and setting up for the event. Our guests included: Reverend James Nemley and Tana Nemley, Tim Jacard, Andy and Marsha white and more.

March for Life NY now has a very successful Radio show on blog talk radio (www.blogtalkradio.com/march4lifeny-radio) , with a live weekly video feed simulcast on the March for Life NY’s facebook page (www.facebook.com/march4lifeNY)

We have been very busy. And to kick off the first blog of the new year, my sister Rachel wrote an article and review from our live radio and facebook interview with Breath of Life Pregnancy Center.

Take care and God bless,

Joe

From the desk of Rachel Cipriano:

“This week on March for Life NY Radio, we had the pleasure of interviewing Regina Napolitano, founder of Breath of Life Center, Inc. on the day of their long-awaited grand opening. The goal of this beautiful ministry is “to save babies from abortion by offering expectant moms the love, care and encouragement they need physically, emotionally and spiritually. Our goal is to HELP YOU any way we can. The Breath of Life Center is a safe place where women with no where to turn can find comfort, direction and care in times of an unplanned”.

Ministries, such as the Breath of Life Center, offer assistance to women in need in the form of prenatal care (sonogram referrals, birthing classes, and coaching and support through labor and delivery); support (vocational coaching, job skill development, post-abortion recovery, temporary housing, and adoption referrals); one-to-one mentoring for emotional support, spiritual discipleship, physical assistance, and domestic skills; and post-pregnancy help, such as infant care and material assistance for clothing and diapers.

These are just a few of the many services provided by Breath of Life Center. If you are reading this and find yourself unexpectedly pregnant, please contact Breath of Life Center at (631) 738-8829. If you would like to get involved with this ministry or to see how you may donate materials, please contact Regina Napolitano for more information.”

My name is Joe and I have had the recent opportunity to become involved with a most worthy cause. The cause of saving and preserving the sanctity of life. The cause of protecting the innocent and protecting the gift of life which was given to us by God.

I grew up in the suburbs of long island. Lived in a house with two parents, four siblings, one dog, two cats, and for most of that time…one bathroom.

My childhood was not horrible, we had our moments, but who doesn’t. Money got tight, so my parents taught me how to be frugal. Money eased up, my parents taught me how to be a good steward of what He gives us. All in all, my childhood was good.  As a home-schooled child I was taught Godly values that were ingrained in me from a young age: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. Be kind to others. Don’t steal. Don’t murder…etc. Basically, the ten commandments which are the basis for morality in our lives and in society. Or at least it should be.

These days we seem to want to pick and choose what we believe. The world wants to ban the 10 commandments from courthouses and remove ‘In God We Trust’ from our currency because God is now a fairy-tale told by wackos on soap boxes wearing denim overalls and straw hats. Christians are no better, wanting to fit into the world and be friends with the world when we are called to live in this world but not be of it. I often hear the Christians say that they live as an example of Christ, so they do not need to open their mouths. But when they do open their mouth, foulness tends to follow their words because they do not get their selfish way. Yet when a cause comes into existence they are content to be silent because it might offend someone, or it offends their own agenda.

Motive is everything.

What is your motive? What is your agenda? Who do you live for? Do you live for yourself and your own glory, or do you live for God and His glory?

This blog will be used to speak the truth of God’s word. To bring light to the truth of abortion and the disgusting practices used to end the innocent lives of babies. To promote ways to help oppose abortion and the establishments that perform them. To promote healing and rehabilitation for those who have suffered through an abortion. And to give encouragement and help to both men and woman using the beautiful word of God.

My sister and I look forward to sharing with you all in the future.

God Bless,

Joe
